Miss Major Griffin-Gracy — 1946–2025

Inspired by Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a lifelong activist whose decades of work centered transgender women of color, particularly those affected by incarceration, poverty, and violence. Her advocacy grew from lived experience and a commitment to protecting and supporting the women most often left behind.
