Sylvia Rivera — 1951–2002
A saturated raspberry-red with shifting pink and warm golden tones and fine holographic sparkle. Depending on the light, it moves between rich red, berry, pink, and warmer flashes of gold.
Inspired by Sylvia Rivera, a tireless activist who fought for transgender people, queer youth, people experiencing homelessness, and others she saw being pushed to the margins. She co-founded STAR with Marsha P. Johnson and repeatedly challenged the gay-rights movement when it excluded the very people who had helped build it.
