Christine Jorgensen — 1926–1989

A bright jewel-toned turquoise with shifting blue and violet tones and fine holographic sparkle. It remains distinctly turquoise in softer light but becomes considerably brighter and more reflective in direct sun.

Inspired by Christine Jorgensen, whose highly publicized transition in the early 1950s made her one of the first transgender Americans to become widely known to the public. Rather than retreat from the enormous attention surrounding her, Jorgensen built a career as an entertainer and public speaker and spent decades speaking openly about her life and advocating for greater understanding of transgender people.
