Jim Obergefell was the lead plaintiff in the landmark Supreme Court case Obergefell v. Hodges, which legalized same-sex marriage across the United States in 2015. After his husband John Arthur passed away, Obergefell continued advocating for equality and dignity for LGBTQ+ families. His story is a reminder that love itself can change the law.
